does any body know anything about the second x files movie?

i heard that a second one was being made. i was a fan of the show until mulder left

It's still in Development Hell, will feature Mulder and Scully, and be a stand-alone supernatural story.

i think it they are gonna make one they need to get to it ,while Xfiles are still relevant-if they wait too long no one will remember much about the show at all to even care there is a movie out .kinda like the new Die hard movie-they waited over 10 yrs or more to bring it out-a lot of people might not even remember the characters involved

That is surprising since I read that David Duchovny is supposed to be doing a series for Showtime called Californication.
I suppose it's possible he could do both, doing one while the series is in hiatus.
