This person was not happy with my answer to their question about gay people being parents, so I was sent this message, what do you think?

Message: Who do you think you are, i don't know what i'm talking about? Adam and eve were supposed to bring up children, they could make them, if two men (so unbalanced) were able to breed, than they could be parents, but they can't and so they should not be parents. Ok? You said i'm wrong because straight men have the tendancy to leave their kids, what has this got to do with anything?

Sounds like your reply came from someone who felt you were a little to close to the truth about their situation. People don't react like that if they don't have anything to hide.

What can you say, these are probably the very same people who would argue that Mary Cheney and her kid is off limits in such discussions to safeguard her privacy.

They only have to realize that Homosexuality is not something that has come up within the last few decades but has been present in society for ages maybe as long as time itself.

And how about a stinger, God created Adam and Eve and they were supposed to bring up children. Fair argument but where in the Bible did God perform a marriage ceremony for Adam and Eve, I mean this was the time for God to really show everyone how sacred marriage was to him. My point is that how literally will you take the bible? And if you take each and every letter of the Bible will you be eating shellfish or pork? Would you be so dismissive of vegetarians when the diet in Eden was largely vegetarian (Genesis 1:29-30)?

The truth is Homophobes are cowards who hide their hate behind the words of the Bible which is left on a large part on interpretation.

Very little amazes me anymore -- Think about this: until not too long ago, Black people were seen as animals, and until the late 1970s somewhere in the U.S., it was totally legal to kill a Mormon.

Most of the people here, including the person who sent you that message, are actually gay stalkers, usually high school drop outs, just like any other kind of people who don't have some basic tolerance for human difference.

I suspect that many homophobes are more afraid of something in themselves, than outraged by two people of the same genders’ private lives.

Somebody should remind them that America was founded on individual freedom and liberty, not on the narrow-minded and self-righteous pronouncements of ignorant homophobes, people who believe that denying the rights of Americans is a good idea.

yes, homophobes have ceased to amaze me.

a fair while ago now, when i realised how little point there is in investing time arguing with them, because they are so illogical and hardcore retarded.

Gay people would be a lot better parents than some of these losers with kids now. And no, they never cease to amaze me. If they ever have any rational thought I will probably kill over.

The capacity for logical reasoning is not a requirement for membership in the human race. If this was an example of something to find fault with the reasoning in it, it would make a VERY good example. I'll bet they are absolutely clueless that "Adam" is the Hebrew word for "mankind". In other words, God created "mankind"... not one man. Ignorance lives... but not forever. You should see the claims made by the anti-evolutionists - its pretty sad, and they keep using the same old refuted arguments again and again... like talking to a wall.

to ?amuerigo domini? i pose the question, even if it is a freak occurrence like having a sixth toe, do we express hatred for the exception that is someone with a slight deformity? (not that homosexuality is one) is it just to burn everyone different from ourselves? (THERE IS A BOOK YOU SHOULD READ ITS CALLED THE CHRYSALIDS!)

Just an ignorant person. Don't worry about it.

A person is not a homophob just because they believe in heterosexuality. That's the first point.

Second point is exactly as pointed out above. Each person has a right to believe what they like.

And name-calling isn't really necessary.

P.S. for Paul Hxyz: You left out part of it: "Male and female created He them...and for this reason shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife."
