Ok, I have a nice stash of weed set aside but will be unable to smoke it due to school, my questions are...

1) Will the THC disintegrate from my stash or get bad or less effective after a while, like less potent?

2) If yes to 1, how long will it take?

3) How can I make my weed preserve as long as possible?

Right now I'm storing it in a medicine bottle protecting it from UV lights. Thanks.

Use a heavy freezer type plastic bag as per "I Can Answer..", vacuuming the air out with your mouth before sealing the last little bit of the opening. Then follow "Fisherwoman"s advice and put it in a canning type jar, or any jar with a good rubber seal in the lid. Store in a cool, dark place, and it should be in good shape when you're ready for it. To help keep it fresh, try to open the jar & bag as little as possible. If you're still smoking, take out what you need for the immediate future and seal up the rest.

Yeah it dries and gets old, but it takes a long long time. Use a glass canning jar instead of the medicine bottle. The medicine bottle allows air in, and the weed will dry up real fast. Rolling it in baggies, then in the jar should keep it moist and ready to smoke. A friend had stashed some weed years ago and forgot about it. He was moving, and happened upon the stash(which was quite substantial, how could he forget?)Ten years had past, since he hid it. We got nothing but sore throats from smoking so much of it. Pretty bummed, after he told me what he found.

stick it in ziplock freezer bags, zip almost all the way shut, leave a little unzipped, unhale the air to suck out all the air, and seal the rest of the way real fast so no air goes into the baggie, throw it in the freezer. Unless you have a Food sealer machine and bags, that would work great too, and freeze it. AHA, I have an uncle that grows the s hit, that's how I know, (lol) When your ready for it, take it our of the freezer and it will fall right apart like fresh.

Yeah, just find someone gullible enough to buy it. I've seen people buy clumps of grass off of the side of the rode that were kind of shaped like bud, so you could probably get by with something that actually is weed. At least spit on it or something, though...lmao EDIT: Buy some new stuff with the money you get from selling.

Weed can turn sh*ty in a few weeks when it's in a bag. You are asking if 5 year old, dust covered, unbagged weed is going to be ok?

It won't get you as high when it's old or dry but if you keep it in a tightly sealed container it'll last longer and it'll last even longer in moisture. Keep it in a fridge i HEARD that works.

Keeping it in dark medicine bottles in the freezer is good. Keep the buds intact, don't break it up, cut nor crush the leaves cause it allows more of the THC to escape.

After one year, its compost. Freeze it to slow down the decay - the colder the better. And try to quit - it is NOT good for you... it slows down the mitochondrial metabolism in pulmonary cells (in plain English: it slows down the cellular machinery of your lung tissue). Try using a vaporizer instead, or better yet, just don't use it at all... its cheaper.
