An underage drunk driver hit my parked car. My car is worth more than blue book which is what I heard they are going to offer me, what are my options?

Sad to say, your car is NOT worth more than blue book, unless you can clearly demonstrate that there were expensive modifications to the car involved which would substantially raise its value.

That being said, you are in a reasonably good position to demand more from the insurer. Of course, they are going to offer the least expensive option for settlement. You may contact the insurer directly to state your case, explaining why your car is worth more.

They may send out an adjuster again to revaluate your car.

unfortunately it will be you legal burden to demonstrate that the car is worth more then the blue book to prevail on a suit

if you do not take the amount offered and go to Court the court will use the blue book value to determine how much you should be entitled to
