The road from Vancouver to Banff does not pass through Calgary, but the road from Vancouver to Calgary does pass through Banff. It's called the Trans-Canada Highway.

The road through Golden,in the Rockies,is flooding in mudslides,best to be avoided,and is not expected to improve anytime soon.Best to check on the road conditions,you may need to use Kicking-Horse pass ,.....
