Mine, aren't supportive at all, always make me feel like ****, tell me i wont amount to anything, tell me im good for nothing, tell me i Will be jobless and homeless one day, but I still love those assholes.

Here is my family
Dad: Acts like a retarded asshole most of the time. Comes home drunk once a week
Mom:controls my life.
Brother: Selfcentered backstabbing jerk.
Get me the **** out of here!!

I have been trying for the past half hour to type out an answer for you, but every time I do, I get too emotional. I can truly relate to how your family treats you. No one should have to go through that emotional abuse. To me it's worse than some physical abuse. A black eye or busted lip will heal in a few days, but those sharp, demeaning words can stab your heart for the rest of your life. I had to cut the abuse out of my life completely for many years, then when I came back, things were better. My father is the abusive one. I think now he's wanting to do everything he can for me and my brothers because he is old and wants our love before he dies. That bridge is so burnt that the foundation is just dust. We let him make his efforts, but we trust him about as much as we trust a rabid bulldog. He's the reason our mom died at an early age.

My family is very supportive they sometimes make me sick because they very old fashioned but besides all that I love them too bits and without them I don't know where I'll be.
The best advise I've received was from my aunt. She told me to always depend on myself but I must never forget to accept help from other people coz you can never do it alone and that is why we have family and friends.

i actually have a happy family.. although we we're left by our father [when i was 7 and now i'm 14].. he has his own family right now and don't even give support to us but now.. we just keep on ignoring and not thinking of him.. not that sad., and i'm not even jealous to those who have complete family.. and we're not even that rich nor poor.., but still we're such a happy family! woah!^_^
