Have you ever tried dark brown shadow, with like magenta mixed in? Don't get all complicated, just stick with lower lid, 2-4 coats mascara dark brown, mix brown, then black, brown then finish with black
if you are really pale, that's ok, it'll just be extra dramatic, then either just lightly dust some pink blush on lips and leave like that or
do the whole Perfect Pigment by Christina Sullivan for a really professional yet natural look - it comes with brush and all you need plus lip gloss - I can't stand lip gloss and I like this one - it's rather impressive how it just goes with all looks, all skin tones, all color, etc.....
Or do eyes and lip gloss
it's very runway - it took me seeing that to have the confidence to wear it, like ghostly dramatic
you have a unique mix of eye color that would look fantastic

hmm...
It depends on more than eye color. If you're darker complected, you're probably a warm, unless you are afram, then you are possibly cool... look at the underside of your arms and see if the skin is more pink or yellow/olive. If it's pink, stay away from colors that are too bronzey, orangey, or yellowish... If it's more olive, stay away from too bright blues, pinks, or purples... go with a more muted tone.
Then, what do you mean hazel? My grandma is a blue-green hazel, my daughter is a brown-blue hazel, some people have a gold color in there... you need to complement whatever colors you want to bring out, and if you have brown-blues, those are already complementary, so purple or pink could work as long as it works with your skin tone. For green-blues, I'd go with pinks and peaches, and if you've got the gold and want to sparkle, go with greens, blues, and purples.
also, don't just slap a big band of green across your face, use the color with a more neutral shade on the upper lid, do the color more toward the corners or center depending on darkness, or use a subtle color that is more sheer to give that pop without looking like too much

I know you are asking about eye shadow but I'm gonna give you a mascara tip...Smashbox Burgundy mascara is fantastic for Hazel & Brown eyes...it makes them stand out 10 times more & its not that noticeable that its burgundy either. Trust me! I found this out last year & I can't live without that stuff anymore!!

Lavender and other purples are best for hazel eyes, as they complement not only the green flecks but the brown as well.

Light (possibly shimmery) pink shades would look great, no matter what you're skin tone is like :)
