what's wrong? nauseated and on period? headaches?

I can't seem to sleep. I have a terrible headache and I feel nauseous. I've been on my period for the past 5 months straight [and yes I've been seeing a doctor about it] and I started bleeding heavy these past few days but lately I just feel sick. I'm not on any medications. What could this be?

Oh and I'm not pregnant and do not have a history of migraines.

I've been to 2 different ob/gyn's. The one I'm seeing now is one of the top in my state! But I'm just wondering why am I feeling so sick now that I'm bleeding heavier?

Could be something hormonal going on such as due to a hormone imbalance or even something like endometriosis.

In the years before I knew I had endometriosis I had a horrible time with nausea in the weeks before my period.

Please call your OB/GYN's office to let them know of what is going on to see what they think and say. In the mean time you may want to try some ginger tea (yep, made from fresh ginger). You can find the fresh ginger at some of the local supermarkets and also at the health food store. In some cases the flea market if they sell produce there on certain days.

All you do is heat some water up such as in a coffee pot and then cut off a couple of small pieces from the ginger root and put it in the water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes or so so that the flavor of the ginger gets in to the water and then drink it slowly.

Ginger is very good for the digestive system.

If you can't find fresh ginger you can try ginger ale to see if that helps.

I've never heard of anything like this. Please see a good gynocologist. This is not normal. I think a good doctor could fix you right up. Good luck, girlfriend. :)
