Our rubbish.

Mainly as OUR COUNCIL DOES NOT COLLECT CARBOARD OR PLASTIC FROM OUR DOORS. WE ARE EXPECTED TO TAKE THEM TO THE TOWNS RECYCLE CENTRE !!!!!!

How dumb is that !!!!!!!

Many people do not have cars, or the time to make a seperate trip AND if they did the recycle centre would grind to a halt through too many people.

Recycling, it's always full to the top. Sometimes I have to fill a box up and leave it next to the bin because I can't get anymore in there! My rubbish bin is very rarely over half full. I normally have two black bags of rubbish and two white bags of nappies.

Neither gets very full at the moment since most of my waste is plastic and this I have to take to the recycling site at Tesco since Bradford council only take paper, cans and glass in the reccycling bins they leave us. (For some reason I currently have three of these!!)

our council only takes garden waste, paper, glass and cans so that doesn't cover a lot of our rubbish, we are going to get a compost heap, so that will take care of our food scraps, and we take our plastic bottles to the supermarket. We don't do too badly, our bin is mostly only 1/3 full when it gets picked up- but there are only 2 of us!
Bristol council is great- takes clothes and batteries and oil and spectacles etc!
