I'm trying to figure out the name of the fireworks we used to get when I was little. They were black and like the size of a dime. I don't believe they were snakes, as they did not grow. I think all they did was pop. Does anyone know what these are called?

There were some our neighbor kid had that looked like that called "Hellz A Poppin." I think different manufacturers called them different things.

Snap caps if they were in little twisted tissues. When I was young we had what was called Cracker Balls. The color and size of TRIX cereal but loud when thrown down. When I was still in the cradle, they also has what was called torpedoes. These were quite loud and they outlawed them since they were pretty potent. That is about when they made the little variety I am familiar with. If you are at least 55 you may be talking about torpedoes.
