Yes, and I went out of my way to prove the accuser wrong. You gotta stand up for yourself, no one else will do it!
I got the apology too.

Oh boy! How much time ya got?
I was falsely accused by my ex wife of 20 years of having multiple affairs and giving her 1) Chlamydia, 2) Ghonnorhea, 3) Syphillis.
Upon reading her accusation in a letter to me 3 months after she left me, my male organ began to burn. I never knew her to lie.
I knew that I had never cheated on her, so if she got clap, it was possible she gave it to me.
I went immediately to the health clinic to get tested for all std's.
All tests came back negative. My organ stopped burning.
I informed her of this and she still was adamant that she was infected with all 3 diseases.
I told her that she got them from someone else because I do not now, nor have I ever had any std's.
She told everyone this lie and at first they believed her.
Then she showed everyone how nutty she was and doubt began to creep into their minds.
She has never apologized to me for telling the lies. No one has ever apologized for believing her.
I never said too much about it really. It was such an absurd accusation, I gave it no dignity. When I was asked about it, I just answered that she was the one with the diseases and that I never had any, so she couldn't have gotten them from me. I told them that they needed to discuss it with her, I knew nothing.
Time exposes all liars and vindicates the truthful. I am at peace.
What REALLY bothered her was the fact that I went out and got a VERY pretty girlfriend right away and was going out dancing and partying and having great fun while she was nearly starving and mooching off her sister.
My ex wife was 5' 7" and about 240 pounds, size 28 and at age 43, looked 60 and was as attractive as a bulldog.
My new sweetie was 5' 2", 120 pounds, size 2 and at age 49, looked 25. Hot, hot, hot!
I had more fun in a day with my new sweetie than I had in 20 years with the sister of Jabba the Hut.
So, I'm ok with things as they turned out. The cow is out of my life for good and my new sweetie today is incredibly sweet and beautiful! I am a lucky guy!
Your question gets a star!

Have you ever been falsely accused? All the time.
Did you get an apology after you were found innocent? Sometimes.

Yes, by my ex......no he never appologized he always found another way to make me feel guilty for nothing. Mind games are only fun when feelings don't get hurt..... my feelings were always beaten up. Another reason for the big divorce!

YES... my freshman year in college... we have to show ID's late at night to get back into the dorms.. well I was hammered and I lost my ID. So the girl at the front desk was giving me a hard time and saying "you're not allowed in yadda yadda yadda". it took about 10 minutes to convince her i lived there and i had ppl vouch for me so she finally let me in... so i gave her a drunken hug for finally letting into my dorm.
Then the COPS came... to my room... i answered the door and they said the girl at the front desk said i sexually harrassed her... they put hand cuffs on me and started taking me down stairs... i was thinking back to what had happened and i knew i did nothing wrong... but i was hammered they'd listen to her not me.
Before they escorted me to the cars is told them to WAIT... view the security camera at the front desk.... it will show what happened... they viewed it... then let me out of the handcuffs. and asked me if i wanted to press charges on her for false accusations... i said, "no, i just want to go to bed".
