And there are like 3 bites left? Why do people do that? It would be better if they had eaten all of it.

I feel your frustration. After I'd had this experience way too many times, I started putting a generous serving in a plastic container that I keep by the veggies. It makes me happy knowing it's there for me when I'm in the mood for ice cream.

Perhaps the person eating the ice cream felt guilty that he/she was eating all of it and left some for the next person to eat. So it may be an example of sincerity. OR maybe that person felt guilty about eating a lot of ice cream at once. It all depends on the person. If that problem continues, maybe you can talk to that person and work out a solution? Just a suggestion. :) Hope you fulfill your ice cream craves.

I usually stick with the ice cream that comes in cones and has toppings already on it....now if there were three bites left on one of those I'd be thinking.....what the hell?!?!?

But I don't really eat ice cream very much.....hmmm oh well.
