I went in the cave below the cycling road. I cut the tree and went straight across the bridge past that trainer ( a fat guy) and went in the cave. I fought like dozen differ pokemon and saved a little girl. I thought the little girl gave me gible after i showed her her wait out but she didnt. Where do i get gible???

You are the right track. Instead of going into the cave, there will be a cave to your left (it is hidden by the road). If you did it correctly, you have to move some boulders and go to your left. That area you will find all the gibles you want.

gible can be found at the great marsh(safari zone) where the fouth gym bage is
