Yes, I have a friend that named her baby boy Graysen also and I had a step dad with the name. To me it sounds a slight bit old fashion but it is becoming popular around the South.

It's okay...not great, not terrible.

To the lady who mentioned their friend who named their baby Wyland and they'd never heard the name before; he's a VERY famous painter who lives in Hawaii. You know all those underwater pictures? He started those. He's painted Muriel's on the sides of buildings in a lot of major cities all over the world. His work is amazing if you ever get to visit one of his galleries. Here's a link to take a look at some of his work; it's beautiful.

I used to like it. I bumped into a mother of young twins this weekend and they are Lucas and Grayson. As typical with small babies it was hard to tell the gender, I heard Grayson and assummed Gracen (the girls name). I don't like it as much now. I tend to dislike unisex names.

I love that name. It is unique and uncommon. The only other Grayson for a first name that I have heard of is Grayson McCouch off of As The World Turns....LOVE IT

I know a 4 yr old girl named Grayson. I think it is better for a girl because it sounds like grace. I have teen aged sons, and when I imagine calling them or their friends this name....it sounds a little wimpy.

Personally I like it! I've never heard it before. BUt I think some kids may call him "Gay son" or something rude. Ya know kids these days. They'll find anything to make fun of others about.

But yes, I do like it! =]

No- what are they going to call him for short Gray?? Grayson is Robin of batman and robins last name and every little boy is going to be aware of that - odd choice
