No, I'm 15 and classic rock is my favorite type of music, too. It's what I predominantly listen to.

hi guy, who're you to choose 14 12 months old boys who pay attention to classic rock? and besides, an incredible style of people frequently savor classic rock. So don't be putting the harm on good ol' classic rock purely via fact it is not your style!

I am not 14 but when I was 14 I liked most of those bands and still do. I am not big into music and like lots of different types. Truthfully before I read your examples I did not know what Classic rock was.

I do not know what R and B or is it R N B? is or Hip hop. I know country , rock somewhat , rap witch I hate. I normally like R and B even though I do not know what its called or what it is and I like some Hip Hop I think and there is something called alternative witch I think I like as well or my friend says I like it. and I guess I like some classic and current rock. Can't you tell I am big into music lol.

I have never paid for music in my life , and until 3 years ago I never purposely lisend to a song.

You have a pretty good heading on it all, The kinks, Jethro Tull, and Talking Heads, oh and David Bowie are some of my favorite, i mean I'm not fourteen, if you divide by two i guess I'd be fourteen. but keep looking for good music, and I'm saying this because I'm biased but if you love all that stuff you have to promise me you'll check out Oingo boingo, they are insane and i have a feeling you might take a liking to them quickly, they're wonderful. keep on rock'n girlie!

Good for YOU! Sounds like you know the good stuff. It's too bad there aren't MORE kids your age who can appreciate high quality music. I think most of them are totally brainwashed by that toxic filth garbage known as "rap".
I thoroughly DESPISE it!!!!

I, too, have a special liking for David Bowie. You did, however, leave out Elton John, Rod Stewart, and Billy Idol - three more of my top favorites! Moody Blues, ELO, Dylan, Clapton, and soooooo many more.....

There is hope for the next generation!

...And this IS classic rock, whoever said it wasn't. Not that it matters; the fact that someone who's 14 still recognises the worth of this music 30+ years on demonstrates that there are two types of music: good music and bad music. Good music is timeless.

It's cool that you have such great taste in music. I do hope you like more than ONLY classic rock though -- there's a limited supply of classic rock, so always keep your ears open. Listen for new music influenced by your favorites, and keep on rockin'!

I'm 14, and I love all the bands you just listed, and rock n' roll girls kick ***, but some of the bands you listed are NOT classic rock. Please, study music. It's good for you. Even though your school system doesn't think so.
