Hi there,

I understand the term "intelligence" has many aspects. One can be intelligent in one thing, and not so in other things. However, I would love to learn about your own version of intelligence. What aspect of "intelligence" do you find the most determining factor of "intelligence"?

I intend to post this question under a different category just to observe the differences in responses that it generates.

Last but far from least, I am sorry about the lack of intelligence inherent in this question! I feel bored. *smiles*

Thank you for your time!

jesusdrivesador: Thank you for asking for clarifications. I'm afraid you didn't get what I meant. I was trying to say that some people are people-smart, successful businessman, but never made it to high school for an example, some people are book-smart but a failure in career life, you know what I mean now? I was asking for *your* perception of intelligence? Who would you perceive to be the most intelligent? Mine were only examples. You don't have to choose from them, of course. Hope it's a little clearer now. Sorry, I am not intelligent :-)

I think intelligence is measured by being open to new ideas, and the willingness to admit one's cherished ideas may be wrong.

If I am understanding you question correctly, you want to know what some of the more significant factors are in determining intelligence. You worded the question awkwardly both times...

Obviously the determining factors of intelligence are genetics, environment, pre-natal and infant development, desire, and so on.

I don't think there can be something 'intelligent' about 'intelligence', just like there can't be something humorous about humor. Know what I mean?

Other than that I don't really know what responses you were expecting.
