Start > Control Panel > User Accounts. Click on your account (like 'Administrator' or whatever) and then select 'Change Password'. Follow on screen instructions top have your password changed.

I've used this before on my neighbour's XP machine when her son changed the password and forgot what it was. It worked perfectly, however I had to bring over my floppy drive.
If not login recovery, you can try booting in safemode and checking to see if the Administrator account has a password on it. If it doesn't, you're in luck.

Hm? Computer password? Do you mean the password to your user profile? If so, please follow the path below to do so: Click on Start orb > Control Panel > User Accounts In the middle pane under "Make changes to your user account" you will find the option to change the password though you will need to log on as Administrator to do so.

start in safemode change the, account password. there done really easy. or if you have classic logon. while it asks you for your password press alt-cntrl-delete and change the logon user name to something like Administrator or similar and try to logon that way.
