It's possible some people think Mormonism is a cult. Romney himself said that is father was told to marry more than one woman to help his Mormon community and his father just did as he was told.

Last time I checked , we were at war with the Taliban. Why should we let one of their cousins inti the White House?
This one happened 150 years ago but I think its still relevant because Mitt Romneys church pardoned a terrorist mass murderer of Americans and protected the 100 or so other Mormons involved from federal prosecution!
It was September 11, 1857. A wagon train of 160 settlers on their way to California was massacred by a bunch of Mormons dressed in Indian clothes. 17 children under the age of 8 were spared and lived to tell their story.
1st. They dressed as Indians but after five days they changed tactics.
2nd. Then they went a bit away ,dressed back into normal clothes and acted like the Rescue Party who had negotiated a deal with the"Indians".
3rd, Then confiscated all the guns as part of the deal for "saving" the travellers and Mormon dissidents( who were the reason for the attack in the first place).
4th. Took everybody off a mile or so and shot them all. 2 men got away but were eventually tracked down and killed a day or so later.
5th. Took the 17 children they had not killed back with them to Salt Lake City.
6th. Got away with it. After a publicized trial, with the childrens own testimony admitted into the court, only 1 man was convicted and shot, John D. Lee. ( pardoned by Church 1960)
It ended up being called the Mountain Meadows Massacre. The first time in U.S. history that U.S. citizens were massacred on U.S. soil by religious wackos. This event is even more significant because the total U.S. population at the time was much smaller.(I dont know the exact numbers, maybe only 30 million or so) In todays numbers it would be around 1400 dead

Because he is the Republican frontrunner for the primaries and will most likely win the Republican seat for the presidential race. Ex-NJ gov Jim McGreevey isn't running for presidency, but maybe his wife, Dina Matos, should -- she sure knows how to spin her fib-wheel better than anyone else. She is putting extreme pressure on her 5-year-old daughter, by writing this fiction... ummm, I mean "memoir", and is indirectly forcing her daughter to choose between her and her ex-husband. What a horrible mother and role model Dina is to her daughter, family and country! I can't believe some people can be so selfish and mean -- all for the purpose of revenge and false contentment.

I'm not sure. Either way, I am a Christian who once dated a Mormon girl and though we broke up as a result of faith issues, she and her family were very nice people. Of course there are bad apples in every group, but the majority of Mormons that I have met were honest people. Mitt Romny is definitely my pick for president this time around. He is very intelligent and seems honest to me. People who won't vote for a Mormon probably don't know the first thing about Mormons and sadly are succumbing to bigotry.

You are the prey. Mormons are similar to Hitler. They will run this world if we don't watch out. They come like thieves in the night, spreading the kindness and taking your souls. Who does that remind you of? Romney as president? Are you kidding, that would be all they needed, and the U. S. would truly be the most racist country in the world, far worse than it is now, believe it. Supremists across the globe would migrate to this country. We would bury Mexicans left and right. Why? Because they are scum and descendants of demons, far worse than blacks.
Oh, Mexicans would definitely go back to Mexico, and everybody else who is an illegal alien. What the Mormons have in store? Read their Book of Mormon, and read their Doctrines and Covenants. Educate yourself, it would be the worse.
They love blondes with blue eyes, and their women if not blonde will dye their hair and get contacts if they have to in many cases. Have you seen how they all look alike in most families, that is a long line of incest. And they look forward to the day they can bring back polygamy.

I wouldn't care if he was gay. Yes, he really did do a lot to help the winter Olympics here in Utah. I just don't care for the man. I am a Mormon, but I just don't care for him. I don't judge a person by their religion.

He's in New Hampshire right now talking about preemptive strikes against Iran. Is that a Morman principle? If you attack somebody for no reason at all, is that who you want for President? He doesn't even understand what "jihad" means. I think he's more of a jihadist extremist than a Morman. Vote for Ron Paul if you want to keep your liberties.

Mitt Romney was a complete disaster as Governor of Massachusetts. All he did was complain that the citizens of the State were too Liberal minded.
He would be a similar disaster as President

People shouldn't be worried about Romney's religion. They should be worried about his politics and his views on human services for people who are low-income, disabled or elderly.

People who don't understand Mormans or mormanism are suspicious and think the "stories" they have heard might be true and some of those stories are wierd.
At least he only has one wife, has only had one wife, can get along with at least one person his wife, unlike other canidates.
Oh well, who cares, whatever will be will be right????
What ya gonna do about it?
