okay go to start > run > and enter msconfig a window should pop up when you run it, and click the tab labeled startup. look for any processes that shouldn't be there. if you aren't sure what's what, check all of your processes with the database at www.processlibrary.com if you have a virus, uncheck the process associated with that virus. hope this helps. also you might wanna open task manager and check all the processes there (usually the same as startup processes)
