How do I become an actor?
I'm deaf, does it mean I have no chance of pursuing an acting carrer?
Will there be odds against my dream of becoming an actor because I'm deaf?

Being deaf will not keep you from being an actor ... heck even complete lack of talent hasn't been an obstacle for some actors.
Do you sign? A wonderful way to start would be to offer to sign for a community theater or university theater production. You'd be providing a service, bringing theater to some people who otherwise might not find it accessible and showing off your skills to interpret the lines through your signing.
Note: Thanks Marianne. I wanted to refer to Marlee, but I was afraid I wouldn't spell her name correctly!

You should look at Marlee Matlin's work. She's deaf and she's a marvelous actor! Below is a link to her website. Look at the example she has set and follow your dreams!

Good luck!
