Kirby is a cute-ish name, but its quite masculine, and i think it works better as a little boys name, or a middle name.
Olive is very sophisticated, but also quite unique. Its a nice variant of Olivia. It could be shortened to "Liv" or "Livvy", but would also make a nice middle name.
Lucy is such a sweet name. Its just very cute, it reminds you of someone cheerful. It can be a shortened form of Lucille if you like that any better.
Sophie is very cute. Pretty and feminine. It would be probably shortened to "Soph", though, as long as you don't mind that. (i don't- i think its nice)
Acadia is also very unique these days. It could be shortened to "Cady". The one problem is whether it would suit a little baby or little girl very well? Maybe if its your best friends name, you could use it as a middle name to avoid confusion.
Monica is very classy, but also very grown up. I'd also wonder whether it would suit a little baby or girl very well? It would also be shortened to "Mon" which i don't think is that nice.
Ashley is also sweet, also. Its got this classic charm about it. I think on a girl it is very pretty and feminine. It would most likely be shortened to "Ash" or "Ashie" which are very cutesy.
My favorites out of the girls would be Lucy, Sophie and Ashley.
Owen is a really nice name. I think its adorable on a little boy, but also manly and handsome on a middle aged man. I think its really nice.
Hope that helps! :)

Psychology Today published a study that surveyed over 500 Human Resource managers and over 150 college admissions counselors at competitive admission universities. The results showed that a person’s first name was a large factor in determining whether or not a person made it past the initial screening process for hiring or admission. People with odd or unusual names were more likely to be rejected while people with certain names – which Psychology Today termed “power names” – were more likely to pass the initial screening. Here are the top ten “power names” as rated by Psychology Today.

Lucy for some reason is my favorite name. I don't know why i just love it. It is so cute. It reminds me of an old lady so i don't think i could ever name my kid that but i really love the name. As for ashley, sooo common. Monica and Acadia are so cute. Kirby is real cute too i don't really like Olive. That could be cause i hate Olives but yeah.. Owen is an adorable pick for a boy.

My son's name is Brogan, we get a lot of compliments on his name. I really wanted something different that you don't hear everyday, yet isn't odd. I personally chose it because my maiden name is of Irish decent and I wanted to bring that into my children's lives in some way. As far as middle names, we chose Jay for my son my husbands name is Jason but he is often called Jay. I think it's great to incorporate family when you can. My youngest son's middle name is from my father. I have a friend who got her first name from her parents middle name combine. So play around with you and your husbands names and family names and see what you come up with. Last names are becoming very popular as first names. I also loved Breckin, Bryceton, Brynlee (for a girl), Addison, Bryleigh

I fairly love all of those names on boys extra! aside from Brooke. i think of boy names on women is actual cheesy and unattractive, and it makes issues fairly confusing once you're talking approximately somebody and can't tell in the event that they seem to be a infant. I recommend between the extra proper purposes for a attractiveness is to be waiting to tell someones gender... Plus women are taking all the candy boy names and now it fairly is such as you won't be able to call your son some thing that's no longer "Mr. great Butch McTestosterone" sounding. As for the surnames like McKenzie and Addison, those could purely stay surnames... i do unlike them on the two gender. Edit: i think of it may be embarrassing to 3 to fulfill somebody of the alternative intercourse with their call, i understand some women who do no longer care, and then there is my acquaintances Logan and Morgan who're the two women and get fairly aggravated via it and Logan gets "butch" jokes lots from human beings via fact she seems very tomboyish and you already know human beings are purely @sses now and returned, so now and returned bullying would properly be a difficulty too that's yet another reason i do no longer like it. and that i think undesirable for boys with names that are turning out for use on women via fact now they're getting picked on via youngsters that do no longer understand extra appropriate too.
