I absolutely hate children - can't stand being around them.
A woman said that I was a hypocrite because I was a child once too.

But am I really?

That feeling or opinion is not as hypocritical as her words are judgemental, be it hypocritical or just an opnion , there is no wrong in what you feel, there is however a sad ideal at hand;
1: not knowing the love and joy and wisdom having or being around kids can impart on the open minded
2: not giving of yourself as to make another you , so that other timelines will get just a hint of what you were like through your children.
3: the prayer that while you still feel like that, you do nothing to bring a child into this world.

No, its not hypocritical . If it was hypocritical to be against something you once were, them almost everyone would be a hypocrite in at least one or two areas.

I used to smoke but dont hate smokers( especially since I have quit a couple times) I used to do alot of things I dont do now but I have changed. If humans cant change because it would be hypocritical, then we would all remain as we were when we were born.Or we would never improve or change in a positive way.

That's kind of like saying you can never be forgiven for a sin even if you never sinned again. You may suggest to the woman that she used to be a man since she was indeed, at one point, part of a man. So now she is not being her true self!

Time for a beer, I'm starting to believe me.

I can't imagine anyone, hating a child, but I wouldn't necessarily, call you a hypocrite. I know a lot a kids, who are ill manored and not well behaved, but I love them, nevertheless. I detest that is for those who act out, their behavior, but could never say that I hate them. And I've known, some bad kids, but if that's how you feel, that's how you feel. And the fact that you were once a child, has nothing to do with it. A lot of people feel exactly, as you do.

That's doesn't even make sense for someone to call you hypocritical because you don't like children. Hypocritical is when you claim things you disagree with,yet do them yourself. If you don't like kids,you don't like kids,period. At least you're being honest. :)
