Almost all revolutions and uprisings involve dissatisfaction
of the way their leaders manage the country. It may be the
political or the economic situation of the country. The
Russian revolution happened because of the two factors
mentioned above. There was political chaos and
at the same lack of food and other basic necessities for
the people were inadequate. Russia entered into a war
that they cannot win and the cost of this misadventure wrought
havoc in the economy and this caused the downfall of the
czarist monarchy. Lenin was returned to Russia for the primary purpose of seeking a peace accord with germany,
freeing the germans from fighting in the eastern front and
concentrating their forces in the western front agaisnt the
allied forces.Peace, land and bread was the cry of the
people of Russia during that time. They want peace to bring
about stability, they want land of their own, for most were
owned and controlled by the ruling class and their families
and bread because of their hunger.
