So the person that cries wolf first is the one that gets put into jail, even though there was an ongoing affair? How can this be legal??? That's the way it is in Christian County, MO.

You should have obeyed the restraining order. Was it worth it?

I'd throw them both in jail for violating the orders of protection.

People get into trouble all the time. Because their their girlfriend/boyfriend gets an order of protection against them. Then changes their mind and invites them over. It doesn't work like that, a judge has to make it go away. No matter how much they love each other. Even if they invite you over willingly and you go, it's a violation.

If I show up and find out someone is violating an order of protection, they go to jail.....State law

If someone has a restraining order against them, they have to be nuts to violate it and start seeing the complainant.

If they're that dumb, they deserve what they get, wouldn't you say?

Sounds like something I dealt with. The truth is you are right and it is wrong.
