.....who knew nothing about you (through no fault of yours), would you try to find said sibling and make yourself known?

I HAVE THIS PROBLEM I HAVE NEVER SEEN MY DAD HE LIVES ONLY A COUPLE COUNTIES AWAY.I KNOW I HAVE BROTHERS AND A SISTER.MY SO CALLED DAD HAS NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I AM ALIVE SO I LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE I FIGURE HIS LOSS.I WOULD LOVE TO MEET THEM BECAUSE IT ISN'T THEIR FAULT WE DON'T KNOW EACH OTHER,BUT I FIGURE HE WOULD TELL THEM THAT I WAS LYING.I JUST HAVEN'T GOT THE COURAGE UP. I HOPE THINGS GO WELL FOR YOU.

hm mm. Yes, because I would want to know my other sibling that I've never talked to before. But, I;d also want nothing to change with my lifestyle

That's a thought provoking question. I suppose the right thing to do would be to try and find their phone # and call 'em. But most people would be too embarrassed.

yes. What do ya have to lose? Its your family and give the chance they deserve to know you. I would want to know about a sibling I didnt know I had...lol.

maybe- I'm adopted so I can relate to this question...but I don't really think about siblings etc. I have my family and my life already.

yes i would contact them. i am an adoptee and i found my birthmother. i have 2 younger brothers from her and am so glad they are in my life.
i know the dad decided, but that cant stop you if you want to find them. to me that is your right to find your lost family

I know; I don't get involved. Why disrupt their life !?!!!!!! There's a reason we didn't know earlier. It's not easy but life isn't easy.
