What is your opinon on this? Would you want one of these? The Real ID Act means you can't get a job without one, you can travel on public transportation, can't use a bank, won't be able to enter government buildings. It will cause you to loose all of your posessions. It will turn this country into what Germany was before WW II. Where are your papers. If you don't get one of these when (but hopefully never passes) it goes into effect, you will be stripped of your rights as an American. Into concentration camps you go!

Yes it is true that Prescott Bush funded Hitler up to the point when his business was busted up for supporting him. George Bush Sr was somehow involved with the JFK Shooting. Pictures prove was was their when he says he was not there. Bush Jr. is working his mojo on taking off where Hitler left off. This card does have the mark of the beast sound to it. I'll have to find another atrical but I think they want to use that for buying and selling as well. Why are the Churches not preaching about this!!!!

I just have this to say...You can not exchange liberties for security. If you do, you will have neither. The right we have are all the security we need. We don't need another ID card to confirm we are who we are. People have been duplicating I.D.'s since they have 1st been in use. The new National ID Card will be no different. Someone will have a good replica. I for one will not take the card or the chip. I know I am in danger of loosing all I have but I know that no matter what I will leave this earth with non of that stuff anywayz. I hope that it never passes. We have till 2009 now to wake enough people up to this!

I hate to tell you, but we have has a national identification number since Bush was first sworn in. They still call it social security number, but believe me it is a national identification number. Bush would have made Hitler proud. You do know don't you that his grandfather Prescott Bush loved Hitler and contributed money to his cause?

Some churches are preaching against this because this is the beginning of the cashless society the Antichrist sets up before the Mark of the Beast comes into play. Bush is already working on that one too. It involves a microchip being injected under the skin with all your information on it. You will not be able to buy, sell, travel, bank, or do anything else without one , except with the microchip you would be scanned.

I, personally, do not want one of the new National ID cards.

Most people, however, are not informed about what they really getting. They believe they're just getting a good deal or they don't want to hear about the truth and they won't until it's too late.

The concept of a National ID is a good one. I would like to be able to verify that I am who I claim to be while preventing others from impersonating me.

But a national ID can be dangerous, because the program will be run by people. And, more often than not, if people are allowed too much power they tend to abuse that power.

So the question is: Safety or Security?

I choose security by default. It does not matter if this legislation is passed because we all carry a unique identifier in every cell of our bodies. The technology to discriminate and identify DNA is getting cheaper and more accurate every day.

So I believe that we need to concentrate on making sure that we have a strong voice in our government and an open and complete accounting of it's actions. Papers please? No thank you. The tens of thousands of skin cells you shed every minute will do just fine.

No. I agree the government is only interested in more control, while leaving the rest of us open to abuse. For a while they insisted on having SS numbers on driver's liscense only to expose honest people to credit and identity thief. The government is only concerned about the government. The excuse about needing more security is false. What is keeping terrorists from hijacking airplanes is the heros from flight 93, not the security at airports. If you want to be more secure, be willing to die in the defence of a complete stranger. Now think if everyone around you would do the same for you?

What is funny is that the only thing they are going to do is yet again drive up the cost of human smuggling and make it even more tempting to those who would choose to live a life of crime. But I guess people will never learn that if the government can make it, anyone can make it. Can't wait till they put chips in our hands, then to rob me someone will just have to take my arm.

No! Sounds an awful lot like the end times prophecy about not being able to sell or buy without the mark of the beast.

I am completely against this. The only presidential candidate that has actively opposed this is Ron Paul.

I fear that, eventually, people won't be able to vote unless they have these ID cards. That means that the only people who will be voting are the people who won't stand up for their rights. That means that our country will be doomed.

It is like the social security numbers we already have except with a picture. All does seem kind of "666" though, doesn't it?
