Michael Jordan scored 5 points in the final three quarters of game 3 in the 1986 playoffs vs. the Boston Celtics.

This was IN CHICAGO with the Bulls facing elimination.

Even the great ones have "off nights".

Calm that a*s down. No matter how you want to slice it, the Cavs managed to be in the game the majority of the time.

If you don't think James is going to EXPLODE sometime in the next 3 or 4 games YOU my friend, are tripping. No one in their right mind would even give the Cavs a shot and I'm no different. Why? Because the Cavs are completely over-matched and out classed. It's not LeBron's fault that he is usually the only guy on the court worth guarding. THE PROBLEM is they are playing the best BASKETBALL TEAM in the World, GOOD NIGHT!

Why not give some respect to the Spurs? They are a good team for all the reasons that people that come on here after a few good games of NBA Live on PS 2 wouldn't understand. What about the OUTSTANDING night that Gibson had? I think he will tell you that Lebron's mere presence allows him to have such games.

Plus, Cleveland's big men are like 2 big mummies out there. I have never seen two more uncoordinated starters make it this far in the playoffs.

I think Kobe and Mike would agree with me, but wouldn't go on the record with the callous accusations I made about the 2 ground sloths down low for Cleveland. If either one of those STUMBLE GORILLAS were any threat at all, James would have probably won the scoring title.

Expect big things out of #23. Big things...

Of course Kobe would have never shot like that; he would shoot 2/25 in the first half. Stop the hating, it's just his 1st game in the NBA Finals and the game wasn't so bad for them. Lebron is an amazing player and win or lose this series will be a learning experience for him and the team. I believe it is too early to call a sweep as I expect the Cavs to really bounce back the next games. I would say Cavs in 6. Everyone loves upsets not Duncan missing alley-oops and Manu flopping everywhere. Go Cavs!

lebron carried his team to the finals this and that. lebron is so great this and that. tired of hearing how "great" this overrated player is! if you haven't noticed, lebron is playing in the east conference where the disparity of talent compared to the west is ridiculous. there are only a handful of REAL PLAYERS in the east: wade, kidd, bosh, howard, arenas, a dying shaq and thats basically it. in case you've forgotten, take a look at who the cavs have played in the playoffs. the wizards? no arenas, no butler, only jamison who is no superstar. the nets? an aging kidd who never got his offense going, vince carter choked as bad as lebron did tonight. the pistons? they just quit after their game 5 loss. the spurs? a real team w/ real players and is really disciplined. now the cavs are shaking in their boots. quit kissing this guy's ***. he is overrated. comparing this series to the detroit ones and looking at how everyone has written off cleveland is a slap in the face to the spurs. the spurs are in no way similar to the pistons. watch closely and you'll see that cleveland has never been in the game. san antonio plays at a high level while pacing themselves. as a team, the spurs are far far ahead of the cavs. in no way are the cavs gonna upset the spurs because the "star" that they are riding on is gonna get served every single game. this isn't even a series. just had the trophy to the spurs. this is just practice for them.

LeBrick James = overrated.

can't even hate on kobe for not making the finals because unlike lebron and the cavs, the lakers play in the WEST with REAL PLAYERS and REAL TEAMS, not this crap where you can be sub .500 and still make the playoffs. also kobe is the only player on the lakers worthy of attention, so he faces more double, triple teams than lebron ever will. also, the cavs have a MUCH BETTER supporting cast than the lakers, so for the lakers to even make the playoffs is good.

Kobe is and never will be as good as MJ. Lebron carried that team to the Finals. Something Kobe can't do. Infact he was just whinning for a trade because he dosen't have good enough players around him. And the lakers have alot better players around Kobe than the cavs do around Lebron. So go figure.

that exactly what i dont understand. the only thing lebron and MJ have in common is driving it into the lane and finishing. lebron ain not shooter and he aint clutch. he proved one game this year in the playoffs that he could take over but we gotta keep seeing that in him. kobe wont be the MJ either cuz hes more of a shooter and could drive it in. i think kobe is gonna be great and so will lebron but kobes better

Just remember that M.J. had an all star supporting cast. Lebron has varejo, gibson, hughes, gooden and ilgauskas. compare those to Pippen, Grant, Kerr, Rodman, Cartwright, and Kucoc. No comparison. Now will he ever accomplish as much? who knows. But right now individually he is better than any ONE player on the spurs team.

How well would you play if you had 2-4 players on you at all time?? Get a grip the boy is a monster on the court so stop hanging from Kobe's balls.

You fairwheather fans are funny.

In the next few games when he puts up 40+ pts, plus a dunk on someone. You'll be calling him the the "next mj" again. Lebron had one bad game this series, hell be fine.
