Cavs
- Ira Newble...wtf he is still in the NBA especially on the cavs team???
Wasn't he a FA like 3 years ago? Did he get re - signed by Ferry lol?
I was shocked to see him in the intro
Spurs
- Jackie Butler??? when was he brought to SA from NY? Did he ever play a single game?
- Melvin Ely? How did this guy come from the worst team (charlotte) to the best team???
When did all these transactions happen?? haha
These guys are hella lucky to sit their butts on the bench and have an NBA finals appearance to their name!
Thoughts and comments??

Jackie Butler is a practice dummy for the spurs. He plays the center position but played in only 8 games all season. He was picked up during off season. I happen to talk to him a bit and he usually pushes parker, ginobilli around during practice to help them get around bigger and athletic defenders.

Doesn't the NBA have a ruleabout having a minimum number of live bodies on each team? I think Melvin Ely played once but till I heard his name tonight, the only Jackie Butler I ever heard of was the singer. Can't speak for Cleveland.

I agree with you! They are lucky.
Jackie Butler was brought in during the off season. Melvin Ely was traded for Eric Williams, but man does he feel lucky.
James White is even luckier, he went from playing in Austin in NBADL to bench warmer in classy clothes in the NBA Finals.
They have all played this season, when the game was basically nothing to write home about!

nicely, i do unlike basketball and that i hate affirmative action. yet i don't have self belief the NBA is being racist. for my section, basically the main qualified persons could desire to be employed for any given interest reguardless of race, intercourse, faith, etc... So, if the suited basketball gamers available to play interior the NBA are black, white, latino, despite - those are people who could desire to be paid to play. Is hockey racist for having a majority of its gamers white Canadians, Europeans or Midwesterners? no longer no count if it is drafting gamers based totally on their ability to play the sport.

aw, they are just lucky. but we all know who worked their sweat and blood to get into the finals.
on the other hand, they may be practice dummies that brown and popovich use to get their star palyers into shape.
