Nice thought, But I have an even cheaper idea...Write him a letter about how you are priveliged to be his godfather and so on and so forth...anyways, give it to him at his confimation or HS graduation. Sounds kind of cheezy, but my grandfather did it for me and the letter is in my safe with all my other important documents.

I think the chain and cross can be his baptism present. For now, you could get him a little piggy bank with a little money in it, or you could send him a card telling him how excited you are to meet him and bring him a little outfit.

A chain with a cross thats lame, why don't you get him something beeter, like a sail boat, or one of those giant wine bottles with a sail boat inside of it. Chain and cross pretty lame.

which month he born? i think u should get him a month stone and put the month stone middle of the cross, or u can get him just a cross pendent.
