I have no clue how this works, with the delegates and all. Who becomes delegates? Do you become a delegate? Do you directly vote for you candidate? Do you vote for your delegate? How do you know if your delegate will choose your candidate? Do you have to attend a convention or something? Can someone clue me in on how (and when) to vote in the Republican primaries in Fairfax, VA?

If you are wondering who I am voting for in the Republican party, I'll tell you it's the candidate that supports freedom and equal individual rights. Do some research and you'll find that there is ONE candidate that doesn't equate to George Bush. I was gonna vote democrat, but the guy I am voting for now is the best out of ALL the candidates in both parties.

I would advise AGAINST voting republican. But it is your vote. You have to first of all be registered to vote in a given locale. Then, prior to any election you will receive by mail a sample ballot telling you when and where to go vote and what issues are on the table (for referendums). Follow the instructions and you have exercised your constitutional right.

Let me guess...Ron Paul?
I hope he wins and gets on the ballot for President!

I voted once for the "lesser of 2 evils"...but I plan on not doing that any more! If all people were only willing to vote for a good candidate (rather than one who they think can get elected who would be better than the "other guy" but who is a bad candidate themself).... then only a good candidate would get voted into office.

Probably not everyone will approach voting that way...but I am going to do my part...If they are just "less evil" than the other guy...they aren't getting my vote! I think my conscience will approve of that much more than the other way.

Ron Paul for President in 2008!

All you really have to do is register to vote. At some point, you'll get a letter in the mail telling you where and when to vote.

Call your state elections board and go for it. Choice is freedom. The ability to search out, study, ponder and then choose is enlightened freedom.
