Oh, it was awesome. They just have to keep the momentum going. When they swept the Braves, they then proceeded to lay an egg at home against the D-Backs. They can't afford to have that happen again.

hey wolfx316x. you are a complete and utter moron if i must say so myself. you go, "only four in the last 10 or 11 years and not to mention the biggest choke in 04 ALCS...hahahahaha" and that leaves behind 22 before 1995. then if you know math at all which i'm guessing you dont. the yankees first world series win was 1923. 1995 - 1923 = 72 years. 72 yrs divided by 22 wins = 3.27. that means that the yankees from the first year they won are averaging a championship win every 3.2 years which would be 4 every 12.8 years. so that saying, the yankees are actually on pace of what they've always done. you say they've only won 4 in the past 10 or 11 years. well they average 4 every 12.8. shut up and bow down to the bronx bombers

The only good thing about the Phillies is their predictability. Not to mention their blindly loyal fans who keep going to their minor league ballpark to eagerly hand over their money to Monty and the Teflonics. Same thing every year.

Yeah, keep it going all the way through Kansas City, then Colorado, Utah, Nevada, California and into the Pacific Ocean. That way, someone will be kind enough to provide us with a professionally run MLB franchise.

GO ATHLETICS !!!!!
