People in electric wheelchairs do have seat belts.
Especial if they have uncontrolled movements.
Some how the handles that are for people to push the chair got stuck. the seat of those chairs are quite strong.

What I find amazing is how the truck drive did not see the man. Mind you my friend and I was in a car that got pushed by a big truck and the man said he could not see the car.

I saw that. He was pushed for miles. Somehow the handles of his w/c got stuck in the grates of the tractor trailer and the driver had no idea and then drove away from the parking lot. Apperantly the kid had some fun. He had an electric w/c so he was probably permanently disabled, so it is very likely that he was wearing a seat belt.

They said in the article that the guy had the seat belt from the wheel chair on already.

I just read the news now. Quite interesting. Not sure how that happened. And, why did they say that thankfully he wasn't on I-94? Is it a dangerous area there?
