I am thinking of selling some posters I made to a few people. I basically just wanted to know do I need permission to make posters of certain things, like movie stars, sports players, mucisians, general things like this. Or would it be ok for me to make posters with images I find on the net.
Any useful advice regarding this would be great, also if its a problem, is there any services out there where you can buy the rights to use certain images etc

It's kind of hard to know isn't it, with images splashed all over the internet, what is protected and what isn't. But since you intend selling these items, I suggest you contact an attorney for some real advise. It wouldn't be good to be sued by someone.

probably do, it's a trademark thing..consult with an attorney/lawyer
