- Showed the spurs experience and maturity while the Cavs fell apart in the second half starting with lebron committing 6 TOs

- Bron HAS good teammates. Yes James deserves credit for taking his team to the eastern finals but when he was outta the ball game towards the end of the first quarter/beginning of second, pavlovic and gibson took over and erased a 5 point deficit to a 3 point lead. Gibson scored 16 points!!!! Gooden and Varejao caught some of King James' airing passes and finished strong at the rim while grabbing offensive rebounds as well. James made a handful of plays to create opportunities for teammates to score but they didnt which hurt the cavs big time.

- Lebron's jump shot is weak...yes he made a couple of 3s in the fourth but it was too late already. He is 22 years old so he has time to work on that part of his game for future

- Cavs finally met a quality opponent in the playoffs (no offense to pistons) and they just struggled immensely

Ur thoughts

The big second paragraph was meant to show that Bron's teammates such as gibson, pavlovic and gooden deserve big time credit as well and I'm pretty sure Lebron wouldn't have gotten to this point in the finals without them

The Spurs executed their game plan fairly well. They want Lebron to take jump shots or give up the ball and try to rotate to the shooters. They did that. It's not always about Lebron, sometimes it's about what the other team gives to Lebron. The Spurs wanted his teammates to beat them and tonight, they were right in letting his teammates beat them. It's about picking your poison in there. The Spurs thought that it would be best for the other players to beat them because Lebron can beat them if they let him. Great strategy by the Spurs.

The Cavs definately blew video games 3 and four. that they had their probability to win, yet Lebron have been given too excited and made very undesirable turnovers. Did you spot Tim Duncan scouse borrow the ball from Lebron interior the purely precise minutes? Or Lebron bouncing 2 uncontested rebounds out of bounds interior the finals minutes? Or, the Spurs having one possession that lasted purely approximately 2 minutes quickly? and that they ended up scoring 4 factors on the possession. That became a dagger. Then, the Cavs do no longer foul with 40 5 seconds left. The Spurs nevertheless scored on the top of the shot clock. in the event that they fouled and performed besides as they did interior the final 30 seconds, they're in place to win the pastime. They needed to apply the undesirable unfastened throw taking photos via the Spurs. The Cavs blew it great time. a minimum of they might have made it a very exciting sequence, via triumphing one pastime. yet no, thats Cleveland.

This game shows that the Cavs will most definitely lose this series but will be a powerhouse for years to come. James has found his future 1 guard in Gibson who has had 4 or 5 good games in a row, as a rookie, on the NBA's biggest stage. Ilgauskas has to play better and beat those Spurs centers (probably their weakest position). Gooden can't settle for jumpers over Duncan, he needs to get Duncan in foul trouble. As for LBJ himself, he looked like he knew what he was doing, but it just wasn't his day.

As for the Spurs, Parker and Duncan are still unguardable, but Ginobili and Bowen shouldn't have gotten those easy 3s. And the Cavs have to do something about those tip-outs on the offensive end.

I think it was a learning exprience for James.
I think he makes his teammates better because they double
team James. I think he was not aggressive going to the
basket that will change the longer they play the spurs.
I think he did not get alot of calls but to be expected on
the road.
I think SPURs also had a bad shooting night, next game
SPURs will shoot better and LeBron will get more than 20.
However I think if CAVs are going to have a chance, they
need to win the first two games home, game 3 and 4.
Since game 5 is in Cleveland also. If not does not matter
what James does. But it is good to see two teams play
team basketball and not watch Kobe.

i agree that lebrons shot was off tonight. he didnt have a chance to get to the post cuz duncan was there. and he wasnt really getting too many calls to go his way. i was surprised the game stayed that close for the majority of the game cuz the cavs should have been blown out that game. no offense to the cavs tho....they tried

the game went pretty much exactly like I thought it would and pretty much like I think the whole series will go. cavs might win one at home, but I think theres a great chance it will be a sweep. and as for lebron. everyone always talks about how greathe is. lmao. greats show up for big games. even wade last year took over games in the fourth quarter. granted it's game 1 and in san antonio, but cavs wouldn't of even made it past round two and possibly the first round if they were in the western conference. Lebron probably will make the hall of fame, but I think everyone thinks this kid is better than he really is. he has the skill, but He always chokes at end of games. if he does good one game everyone treats it like he always does. lmao.. I live in seattle and ama die hard seattle everything fan so im not saying this biased. dwayne wade is alot better player than Lebron, because he shows up when it counts in the 4th quarter.

-Cavs shot like crap, inturn losing them the game.
-The Spurs played okay, but well enough to win.
-LeBron needs to do more for them to win.
-Gibson/Gooden played very well offensively.
-Duncan is very good.
-Offensive rebounds win games.
-Double teams = wide open 3's for Spurs.
-The Spurs' experience maybe too much.

onceagain, defense proves to win championships. shut down lebron, win the game.

control the rebounds, control the world!!! (sakuragi of slam dunk)
i saw ginobili getting lots of rebounds. cavs fail to box him out. they have taller players. they should be able to outrebound him. the cavs fail in this department, too.

Some very good points there.

Melinda, would you like to borrow a paintbrush? You shouldn't have any trouble finding people to throw rocks at you.
