When I press on the "ON" button, the light just blink once...and no action... before this happened, my desktop was switch on for about a long 4 hrs.. then it suddenly shut down itself.. and cannot turn on liao....

you mean it can't power on.
I think you better bring back to where you bought if within the 7 days of purchases, they may be able to 1 to 1 exchange for you if the purchase contract stead so.
Else you may bring it to Acer servicing center to repair, it shall be free as yr laptop is under warrenty. unless the fault if man made. if i am not wrong the service center is near jurong east.
