D-Wade. He knows when to pick up his game. And as a response to the first answer, Look at Wade man, You'll see how dedicated he is to his team. Even if he has the injury he commits himself to sacrifice and grimace in pain than let his group in vain without their leader. And that is the total difference between the two.

Right now Wade because of poise and intensity on offense, Lebron suffers in that regard pobably because he did not play college ball. Wade lacks confidence in his outside shooting, though his form and release are excellent, he should become a very good or great shooter in time. Lebron has an eye for the basket that can not be taught, but there is a hitch in his shot that will prevent him from being as reliable from the outside as say Bird, Ray Allen or even MJ. Few players at any level can correct the type of hitch that Lebron has. Lebron has a verticle leap though that allows him a clear look at the basket without having to be very concerned by even the most tenacious of defenders (Kobe or T. Prince). The two are both great drivers either scoring, dishing or getting to the line. Both are great passers, and able to play the point as scoring point guards like Isiah Thomas or as setup men like Magic though they will be most effective as wing players. Both have the ability to rebound but Lebron will be able to rebound from the post with the leagues best if he needs to, Wade is an outside-in rebounder sneaking in and exploding to the ball, Lebron has the knack and athltic ability to do that as well. Neither have any chance to be as good all-round as MJ if they do not improve on defense, currently they are better than average but both lack the intensity of MJ or Kobe on defence. If Wade becomes injury prone or burns out quickly the whole question becomes moot.
If Magic Johnson did not contract the HIV virus he could have played another 7-10 productive seasons as a power forward if he wanted to, Lebron is a far better leaper and though Magic was very strong Lebron is much stronger and quicker as well. Lebron could be productive into his 40s if he learns to post-up. Wade has a chance to be one of the 3-4 best wing players ever maybe even the best, but I expect him to fade quickly compared to Lebron. Wade will probably be greater sooner than Lebron but watch for Lebron to be helping teams to the finals multiple times over the next 14 or even 20 years if he wills it. The upside of each is about even now, the defining factors will be injury, defensive intensity, Wade improving his long range shooting and Lebron sorting out his incredible talent while developing poise.

I would say Lebron, first because D.Wade has Shaq. Even though Shaq isnt the Shaq of old, he is still a presence that Lebron doesn't have not to down play Z.Ilguaskus he is an above average center but doesn't compare to Shaq. I would have to go with Lebron also because he hasnt been seriously sidelined with an injury, unlike Dwyane and Lastly I would pick Lebron because of his size and athletic ability at 6' 8" 250 lbs Lebron can post up against bigger guys unlike Dwayne who is 6' 4" 216 lbs.

King James !!!! He has not suffered an injury like D-Wades, which hints he is a little more durable. Lebron just needs to slow down, he can get really hot....then he is hard to stop, or he can be cold as ice, and miss every shot. Its a little different every game with Lebron, but hey.....it seems to be working, they are in the Finals for the first time EVER.

lebron james: younger, more potential, has the size, 3points, not prone to injuries, rebounds.
dwyane wade: ft's, asts, stls, blks, fg.
im not saying these are their strengths, but their advantages when being compared to each other.
id take lebron, coz he is still learning and can be much more of a force than wade. he just needs to improve on his fg,ft,defense, 3's. u cant teach size.
