Absolutly Love my Phillies! How do you feel about the Mets blowing 3 straight games? Can the Phills top it off this year, make the playoffs and actually not have to hang on to a Wild Card? Let's hear the input.

[ I know they can do it, love you utley and rowand <3 ]

The PHILLIES are notoriously inconsistent, we PHILLIE PHANS know this...so, we shall savor each and every victory and revel in each and every SWEEP...just as we are tonight.

For the City of Philadelphia...there is hope!
If the team stays healthy and the RP keeps us in the games as it did throughout this series...WE HAVE A CHANCE...a chance to turn this season around...

...and the chance to redeem J-Roll for the prophetic words he spoke earlier this year...
"The Phillies are the team to beat in the NL East."...
BELIEVE IT PHILADELPHIA!

HURRAY PHILLIES!!

They can do it if everybody stays injury free. Rowand needs to keep hitting the ball like he has been lately and keep driving in runs. Utley and Howard need to keep bringing on the long balls. They could use some help with pitching though; Hamels can't do it all for them. The Phils need to find a closer that can help secure victories for them. Along with you, i'm glad they swept the Mets, anytime you sweep a team as good as they are, you're doing pretty good. I sure hope they don't have to battle it out in the Wild Card, but it will be hard to win the division. It will be hard to win this division, especially if the Mets and Braves keep winning so many games. The Phils can do it if they keep healthy and keep winning ball games. Go Phillies, I hope they go all the way!!!

I don't think they're good enough. The Mets are a lock for the division, and a team in the West will take the wild-card, be it the D-Backs, Padres or Dodgers. Don't forget that the Mets squad is depleted with all of the injuries they have. They've had to actually sign guys off the waiver wire to START just to fill some of the voids.

I love the Phillies too, and I'm elated that the we swept the Mets. The playoffs are within our reach, but the bullpen needs to step up and get the job done on a consistent basis.

Phils are playing well now but didn't they lose 5 of 7 after they swept ATL 4 games. They just aren't construced well enough to finish ahead of the Mets.
