I have a 1973 Camaro LT I recently purchased and was wondering if some of them originally had side pipes. Does anyone know?

Originally, no, they never had sidepipes. Somebody added them. It was big in the 70's & 80"s to add them.

I do not remember the 73's having side pipes. 73 was a bad year for cars. It was the first year that unleaded gas had to be used in them. At the time, I was working in a Chevy dealership in VA Beach, and I really don't recall seeing any with pipes. good luck.
