Ha ha ha.
The judge is more interested in impressing Paris Hilton with the fact that she has broken a law, and when you break a law, there are consequences. Even if your daddy is very rich.
It has nothing to do with who is and who isn't a celebrity. It's very difficult to figure out just why everyone treats Paris Hilton as a celebrity. She can't do anything. She isn't that attractive. She doesn't appear to have any particular talents. She doesn't take an active role in supporting worthwhile causes or volunteering for anything. Celebrity to me, means someone who is special in their field. And indolent living isn't generally considered to be a noteworthy event.

I hope you're not Paris Hilton's fan. If you are, you may want to rethink about your role model.

C'mon, are you serious? A judge who is educated jealous of a useless, uneducated human being.

Apparently you hadn't heard that Paris was "transferred"to her home with a monitor ankle bracelet. So she will have an
increased sentence now since she will remain at home and
not under the same conditions she had in jail. Apparently,
she developed a rash from stress in her three days of lock
up. The jailer was candid on TV and said something to the affect, that he was glad to be rid of her. Both her attorney and her psychiatrist were at the jail before her 'transfer'.

i doubt it. paris is a poor little rich girl that's never had to face the consequences if her actions until now. a regular person off the street would be put in jail so her being "famous", does that make her special? the law says "no" but her money can buy a "yes".

No, I don't think that's it. I think he wants Ms. Hilton to realize that just because she is a celebrity doesn't mean she can break the law and get away with it.
