The internet allows for a whole new sphere of hidden agents. There's no telling if we're talking with normal Americans, or agents of Iran, Israel, China, Russia, or any other nation here. Or, we could just be talking to normal citizens from Iran, Israel, China, or Russia on here. Somehow, that seems like it might be a good thing, though. If we can sit here and talk with people from Iran, maybe they'll realize we don't want to randomly kill them and we'll realize that most of them are normal, rational thinking people somewhat like us.

See, the internet is a good thing after all. There will always be a few who misuse it, but the overall result is positive.

I could not get the video to run.

I am new to surfing thru this stuff and have noticed many questions that suffer from literal translations. They type english words but are thinking their own language. Makes it hard for us to make sense of.

I went out with a Vietnamese woman for several years and she could get me all mixed up. I did the same when in Germany. I would use german words in english context. Does this make sense? The response is always Huh, what are you saying.

If nothing else it makes it easy to spot, even if accuracy is not 100%. Then there are those that know english...then it's tough.

Yes, that's an interesting report. One site was an obvious fake; the "soldier" sounded like a 12 year old.

Some people here, like the guy above me, are virtual agents of the Republican party, posing as liberals or hippies. There's not much we can do, except that when people state lies, we should counter them immediately with facts. If they're obvious fakes or propagandists, we should expose them.

It may be true but that does not take away from the fact that many soldiers are returning from Iraq to speak out against the war........
