i want PEACE for my MIND
& REST for my HEART
but i can never have them...
for as long as i always think of a solution to my problems
as well as for my lovedones' troubles..id keep worrying
& for as long as i never get tired of Loving....
my heart will never Rest..
sometimes the things you can never have
can help you gain what you really need.

A true lady that is very affectionate, and one that does not come home telling me about all the customers she had that day. I worked with an arline for 35 years and never once did I ever mention my job when I got home, unless there was a crash at the airport. She would not shut-up talking about her job, from the first ***.... until the last customer left. She could place a 6-pack in the frezzer when she got home and the sixth one would be just as cold as the first one. In other words she drank them so fast the last one was at the same temp. as the first. Lord was I glad when she had a nervours break-down worring about her bar customers.

This isn't really an "easy" answer, because there is something that from time to time I regret having happened, but I don't "deeply want" it, because it would be impossible. A misunderstood "sacrifice" on my part, fueled by anger & greed in others, & will never be resolved or would invalidate the sacrifice. Very complex. It would be so easy to "redeem" myself, but not at the expense of the othe person. If that makes any sense to you! & no, this has nothing to do with romance, or death.

I will never dance. I have always admired dancers and frequently play for them, but have never been coordinated enough to do more than stumble around the floor. Now that I am partially disabled, I don't even really do that. It isn't something I want to get over, just live with. sometimes my wife gets up and dances to the music the band makes when I am in one, and that is nice.

Yes, there is something that I want, and will almost certainly never have. I'd prefer not to say what it is on here. I don't know if you get over it or not; perhaps the best we can do is move on - and hope for a minor miracle.
Truly, while there is life, there IS hope.

it depends on what u think deeply want means.if it's like a true, heartfelt desire, that u want, feel u need, can't live without, then no. u won't get over that. u can move on, but i think that kind of denial and heartbreak will always be with a person, throughout whatever they do

Sure, I think everybody has something or someone they never get over, but life goes on. 26 years ago I thought that I would never be happy again, but I am. It took a lot of time and a few screw ups, but I survived, and came out better off.
I am sure you will too!!

My lover says is heart belongs to me,but I know if he ever decided to leave, there wouldn't be anything I couold do about it. I will never own him. It makes me sad, but, at the same time, I wouldn't want it any other way.

That's the MOST COMMONLY experienced human condition - and do NOT you go killing yourself over it, either. ... Ask any buddihst monk and they'll tell you: cravings are at the heart of all human suffering. ... If you are capable of feeling the heartbreak, you are capable of loving AGAIN.
