I'm with you, but there is much happiness to be found on your own, too. There is a freedom and lack of obligation when you are by yourself, and you are open to do whatever you want to do. I realized a long time ago that you make your own happiness. Many relationships bring much sadness and heartache.
Take advantage of all the possibilities and look at the bright side.
My bright side tonight is that tomorrow is Friday, it is summertime, and I have the weekend free to do what I want. Not too shabby at all.
Good luck and cheer up, you have to make your own happiness, others really cannot do that for you.

When I feel lonely I call up a friend and terrorize him/her. We start talking about stuff and it usually pulls me out of the funk that I'm in at the moment.

Remember, this too shall pass. My mother used to say that to me when I felt as if life was too painful to go on. And, she was completely right. You'll get through this, don't worry. Can you remember the last time you felt like this? It was in the past. You have to appreciate these bad times too though. They make up a complete life. :)
