Could someone have a tubal ligation and...?

what would happen if someone had a tubal ligation and then found out that before the procedure was done she got pregnant? would the tubal ligation have any effect on the pregnancy?

that is most likely impossible. before surgery, they give you a pregnancy test. they almost never do surgery on a pregnant person unless medically necessary.

but if they did happen to miss that you were pregnant, the egg would have already traveled down the tube and would be embedded in your uterus. therefore, no harm to the baby.
