Although Pres now says Bin Laden isn't a concern (did want dead or alive) why has it been almost 6 yrs & nothing?

Because we have to keep the war on terror going is my guess.

Because the war on terror is a joke. Young men and women signed up to join the military after 9-11 to fight terrorists and instead our president sent the majority of them to Iraq (a country that had nothing to do with terrorism at the time....the radical extremists actually had the same hate for Saddam as they do for America. Bin Laden even wanted to go to war with Iraq when they invaded Kuwait in 1991. ) Our president cares more about Haliburton stock prices and the profits his buddies in the Oil industry make than capturing terrorists. The facts all point in that direction, but unfortunatly many Americans are still blind to the truth, which saddens me greatly.

He is likely hiding in the mountainous tribal regions of Pakistan still, after he escaped during the battle of Tora Bora. Maybe he is even in Peshewar, the former al-Qaeda base.
Pakistani president Pervez Musharruff is our ally in the War on Terror, but he won't let U.S. forces enter Pakistan. His own military forces are advancing, but it is hard to police up there. The tribes are more loyal to themselves than the governent, and internal rebellion over Pervez' suspension of a judge is a big thorn in the side.

We're not searching for binLaden. Even Bush publicly claimed, shortly after the 9-11 hoopla died down, that "binLaden is not a priority" any longer. Remember, Bush's dad, George H.W. If some one does not want to be found it can not be done.

Because he is being hidden by members of the Religion of Peace. We always hear how members of Islam, abhor terror and how it is against their teaching. However, many seem very willing to hide and protect a person that caused massive terror.

Is it still a mystery to you?! It was the only way to get America to focus on the middle east and start deploying troops out there. Bush Jr. wanted revenge on his daddy's behalf on sadaam. So, duh...of course it's not about osama bin ladan, it was about taking out the guy who put a hit out on his papa! Duh.
Why do you think there is so much unrest in America right now?!
