I find myself going back to gamecube and PC games rather than my brand new Wii. Also the games that are coming out arent that good. Where is metroid, harvest moon, all that good stuff?

It's kind of expected. The first few months after launch, there's usually a dry spell, and then things begin to pick up around the holiday season, then a dry spell in the spring, a few good games in the summer and fall, then more games during the winter.

If you think the Wii is bad, think about how bad it is for the PS3. At least the Wii is getting 1 or 2 good games a month, while the PS3 is getting about 1 good game every 2 months.

God of War will never come to the Wii. Wii fanboys can dream and pray all they want, but it's never going to happen. God of War is a Sony own franchise. It's a first party game, which means it's owned completely by Sony and no other company. Sony is not going to give Nintendo its most popular franchise.

thats why i started playing the n64 and im going to buy a ton of gamecube games. the games come out slowly and a lot suck. the interactive thing is cool for some games like wii sports and wii play but for some games i like the controller best. in 10 years theyll probally get rid of controllers and make it all like the wii but even more interactive thats when video games will stop and instead of buying the new games everyone will relize they miss controllers and old games and systems and modern ones now will be bought. i hope video games will stay with controllers. i got bored of the wii after a while its fun at first but gets boring. i agree nintendo dont turn into what sega did but old sonic games are fun. the second one i think it was was awesome. companies are changing. what happened when theyd introduce new series that turned out awesome and where the games and systems where affordable. sony is guilty of charging way to much. i hate how all people care about is graphics its gameplay people.

Its not just you its a lot of people. I'm scared that I stood in line for 12 hours for nothing :[... I got tired of my Wii in about 2 months. All the games out now are trash--I have heard Mario Party 8 is good but I want to play an epic game...whatever happen to those good old Nintedo games when we couldn't wait to get up at 6 am the next day and play Donkey Kong Country? ...lol...I did that when I was 10. Now I'm beating the Legend of Zelda in a couple of weeks. What happened? I don't want Nintendo to end up like Sega did. Sinking like the Sega Saturn and Dreamcast :-(

It is not you. Companies and game producers are hesitating to come out with games for the Wii. It's because of their intricate controller with motion censor, it is harder and more complicated to produce such games. The Wii is totally different from any other game engine before. There is also a limitation and range of games. Certain games won't be fun, or won't work if played on the Wii, just because of the motion censor, two part controller, which have unique buttons and style.

That just kind of happens. If you find an issue of Nintendo Power and look at the list of games in development, however, you might feel better. There's a nice variety of games being made by both Nintendo and third party developers. Have a little patience and don't get discouraged; soon you'll have plenty of games to choose from.

No it's not you. There is a very slow production for the system. It's because of the new way of playing. It takes time to make a game ( a good one anyway) for a system like the Wii. (look how long it took them to make Zelda. Good game but not worth the wait.). I do go back to the cube from time to time. Nintendo was smart by allowing you to download old games. That's what keeps me occupied. (loves mike tyson's punch out).
