what can a salamander eat from my kitchen?

What type of salamander and what have you fed it in the past? Most will eat small crickets and fruit flies if appropriate for the slamander's size. Try putting out a fit of fruit and see if anything comes around (outside works too if you have a yard or windowsill where it won't be dirturbed). My marbled salamander eats small earthworms worms and pillbugs. Most salamanders like living prey, so it'll probably want something that moves. You should also check that it's moist and cool enough for him unless he's an aquatic type, then just check the water temperature. If they're too warm, they don't seem to want to eat well.

No meat. Try some baby food, seriously. Get the sugar/salt free ones. Get the squash, corn, and sweet potatoes, and maybe bananas. Give a tiny bit of each and try that. Small crickets from the pet store to may make him want to eat.

i could be very careful giving them human processed stuff. (canned/frozen) i could bypass sparkling culmination/greens purely going off a google seek and seeing what you have for the lists/ do not suggestions procuring. does not supply them meat the two - enable bugs be their protein. you could actually purchase up frozen bugs for them to consume on line if it pleases you - or wander around somewhat with a fly swatter...
