New babies will suck their life from you. You need to fuel up. You are still eating for two. I know you want your figure back but forget about it for about a year and feed that child. You will lose weight as your body readjusts to it's non-pregnant state. Eat everything you want for the time being, drink lots of water, and make sure you get calcium... the baby will take that from you. Have a milkshake every day for a while. You earned it, and your child needs a substantial mom.

Make sure you are eating a good healthy diet and are drinking plenty of fluids. I know how hard it is in the first few weeks to make sure you are eating properly. I went back to pre baby weight the day i had both my sons to the surprise of everyone, but i also lost about 10lbs in the following weeks. I found the easiest thing to do was get some of the pre packaged, healthy, weight watchers meals, and have one of those for lunch, but still eat my regular breakfast and dinner. At least i wasnt eating crappy snacks during the day, and i maintained my weight. And i had a 2 litre container of water that i drank throughout the day. While i was breastfeeding, i never went back up to pre baby weight, but my diet was healthy, i drank enough water, so i knew i couldnt be all bad.

Go back to the surgeon - have them refer you to a specialist, or get more huge testing. A second opinion sounds excellent however they would absolutely repeat the identical checks. (i do not have an understanding of the experiment for arthritis - would not this be some sort of gastrointestinal quandary if he's eating however dropping pounds? Or thyroid/metabolism?) it doesn't matter what, i'd take heed to that internal voice! Simply when you consider that a few assessments came out terrible doesn't suggest you are imagining matters.

I lost 10 more pounds than I gained with my daughter but it slowly comes back. Just don't go too far, or check with your doctor. Make sure you eat enough and healthy for the baby to breast feed.

you must not of gained to much while you were pregnant.
You burn 500 calories a day from breastfeeding so yes you do lose weight faster when you breastfeed.
but you NEED to make sure you are still eating a lot too, if you are not eating the baby will still take what it needs from you and you will get very sick.

That's totally normal when you're breastfeeding. You will gain the weight back though. Just remember to eat healthy, excercise, and drink lots of water. Don't try to overeat to make yourself gain back the weight or you will regret it when you stop breastfeeding.

You burn about 500 calories a day nursing. I lost the weight fast too. It's also probably just the retained water that you are losing.

breastfeeding does cause weight loss...if you don't want to continue losing weight the increase your daily calorie intake just slightly (healthy foods) until you decide to wean your little bundle.
