Your story is horrible! Poor you. I'd vote for yours if I could, but since I can't, here's mine:
It was my fifth birthday. I was having a party and all of my friends were there. I remember wearing a dress, but not what it looked like. Anyway, I had to go to the bathroom so I sat down on the toilet and tried and tried to go but nothing would come out. My mom says everyone could hear me grunting and I took so long in the bathroom that eventually all my friends' parents took them home! When I finally came out of the bathroom, only my parents and baby sister were there. I had to open my presents all by myself and no one was there to play games or anything.

Yikes! Terrible story!
Mine was probably my 40th.
My mom's birthday is about three weeks before mine and she's 20 years older. For her 60th I threw her a huge suprise party at a fancy restaraunt with the whole family and her best best friends.
Everyone in the family knows my birthday is right after hers because we often celebrate them together. On my 40th birthday not a single person, not even my mom, did or said anything to me about it. My coworkers all forgot (they did give me a party the following week) and not a single person in my family did anything, although they did throw a party for me about two weeks later. As 40 is somewhat of a milestone, I was a bit crushed, but brushed it off.
I did make up for it the following year. At my mom's 61st party I made a really big deal about how everyone had skipped my important milestone 40th birthday and I was expecting a really really big party and lots of expensive gifts for my 41st. And I got it too, they all came through, HUGE party and lots of great gifts. 41st was my best party ever and it was because I MADE everyone think about it and plan.

My 8th birthday. We were going to go to the park for my party. I remember mom telling dad he shouldn't drive. I was thinking that was strange because it was too far to walk. Dad had been really thirsty that morning, it was summer and hot. Anyway, we were on our way, I was in the back seat playing with my GI Joe when I dropped the rifle on the floor. I heard my mom scream then there was a really loud crash. It really hurt, I remember laying there, and knowing I was hurt, but not crying or anything. Later my grandma came an got me at the hospital and took me to her house. She said dad was going to be gone for a long time and that mom was with the angels and I was going to live with her. I found out later that my dad was drunk and ran a stop sign. my mom was killed, my dad was in jail for 3rd degree manslaughter. The car he hit had a family of four. They all died too. My mom still comes to visit me once in a while. The first time was a couple weeks after the crash. I learned pretty fast that it upset Grandma when I told her mom had visited me so I quit telling her. In fact until now I haven't told anybody else about this.

when i was 11 we had my birthday in the park. apparently nobody watched the weather. and it poured down raining and nobody knew where to go so everyone and the parents left. and they put my cake in the back of this ladies car and her poodle licked and ate half the cake. i just remember crying and crying. however my dad brought a giant sheet cake to my class and my teacher let us have a party in class. i was so surprised so it was the worst and best birthday ever.

..I had just got a new job and my friend was gonna get out with me and blow up the town...when he arrived he said " I just had 50 dollars and spent it all at this great yard sale, what are we gonna do tonight"...I bought beer.. I bought food... I asked to go to Nashville (I live about forty miles away) and he said,"no man, I ain't got the gas"...he just wanted to get wild and drunk at my house, off my dime...well I got mad, I put this moocher on the road...I had a girl I knew who had been wanting to go out with me,so I called her.."hey, do you want to go to Nashville tonight"? ...she knew I was really upset, and when she found out my story, she seemed all for it...long story short, she drove me to Nashville...and I'm starting to feel better, but she will not park the car.... I'm like "what the hell girl" ...and she said " I knew you were mad at your friend, and I don't want you to get in any trouble"..so after cruisin" for 45 minutes in the place I wanted to be ; she drove back home without ever stopping anywhere...I had money..I had desire...and I had some dumb butt friends who kept me from doing anything, but wishin' I was havin' a good time....
