if someone starts swinging at you first and theres no other way but to defend yourself, what could happen if you beat the other guy up, could he sue you or does the school take full responsibility and the charge goes to them. and if you do get sued, what legal action can you take with a lawyer...this is for a high school fight, but i'd also appreciate answers for colleges/universities

School adminstrators have no back bone
So they call your parents and suspend you both
And it goes on your record.
They do not want to be responsible but want the big pay check.

high school fight prolly a detention or something like that no lawsuit
if its in college most likely sue (if hes a big baby) if he sues try to find a witness legal action SELF DEFENCE

at my school u get suspended if u are involved no matter what.....unless your family has pull....
