What can I give my girlfriend of 8 years? except for expensive jewelries?

Every year that we spend with a loved one is a special one. As the years come and go we find so many likenesses and so many differences, but we meet in the middle...that's the secret to a successful relationship, whether dating or in marriage.
I have discovered that some people Male and Female are thoughtful and will give you gifts from time to time. Others however, never think to tell someone that they are happy that they have such a good mate.
You have chosen to find an answer to doing something special for your loved one so know That is a gift within it'self.
If you enjoy shopping for cards always try to find one that says what you can not find the words to say. If you are like the men I have had in my life you already know that most men don't even read the cards they say " Hey that's a good one it has a rose on it. " Bingo answer to any occassion.
If you would like to get a little more personal then you are welcome to get you some pretty paper and make your own card out of this sample verse I have authored for you. Just print these words on your computer. If you can create a little verse on your own then I would suggest that you write a nice verse and place it inside an empty box and as an added touch place a red rose on the front of it, that is a gift that will show that you spent time thinking of how you could make this anniversary special.
My verse to you :
Year one we were just getting to know each other ; year two we discovered that we were still best friends. Year three I realized there could be no other ; Year four I knew our love could not end. Year five went by but not without trials we faced ; Year six gave us hope for many more. Year seven came and I knew no one could take your place ; Now eight years later life is all that I could hope for. NO gift, No jewlery, No flowers rare...will ever be able to show my love or how much I care.

Pack a picnic, wine, cheese, fruit, a crusty bread some candles.
Tie a blind fold around her eyes, walk her out to the car rive aroud the block a couple of times then go home. Still blind folded walk her back in to the house sprerad a blanket out on the floor lite some candles and walk her to teh blanket and take off the blind fold with the basket of goodies setting there, and the magic will happen!
